Step 1: Understand what brands are actually paying for
Before you do anything, you need to understand this:
Brands are not paying you for your audience.
They are paying you for content.
They are paying you for content.
They need:
- videos
- product demos
- reviews
- lifestyle clips
Content they can use on their social media or ads.
That’s it.
You’re not trying to “become an influencer.”
You’re creating content that helps them sell.
Step 2: Start creating before you get paid
This is where most people hesitate.
They think:
“I’ll start once a brand reaches out”
That’s not how this works.
You create first.
You can:
- film products you already have
- create simple “get ready with me” style clips
- record voiceovers
- test different styles
You don’t need motivation to start creating...
You need discipline.
Step 3: Keep it simple
This is where people overcomplicate things again.
You don’t need:
- a full content plan
- professional editing
- perfect lighting
You need content that feels real.
Natural always performs better than perfect.
Step 4: Start reaching out to brands
This is the part that turns this into income.
Once you’ve created a few pieces of content, you can start reaching out.
You don’t need a perfect pitch.
You just need to:
- introduce yourself
- share that you create content
- offer to create content for them
That’s it.
Simple works.
If your brain is already trying to turn this into something complicated, slow down.

You don’t need to do everything perfectly.
You just need to start.
Because once you start, everything becomes clearer.
